A desire to help people is why I work in philanthropy and is what attracted me to More Partnership. As a company whose purpose is to advance great ambitions it feels great to play a small, but tangible role in this on a daily basis through the great work we do with a variety of charities and institutions.

One of the biggest things I’ve learnt about fundraising in my short time working here is just how much effort and co-ordination is required to plan a fundraising campaign from inception through to delivery and, as a result, how much of a positive impact having an experienced team of fundraisers can have on the success of a campaign.

• Former basketball player – I played at a university level, as well as for clubs in England and Scotland
• Avid motorsport fan – particularly F1 – but if there’s an engine and wheels I’ll probably enjoy it!
• Frequent volunteer for charities, including British Heart Foundation, British Red Cross and ADRA-UK
• Explorer of the Scottish countryside – there are a lot of brilliant driving roads around Scotland…the nice views are just a side benefit!
