What really excites me is working with teams and organisations that have a BHAG (big hairy audacious goal) and have the belief and resilience to go out and try to achieve that goal.

As much as the quality and impact of what we do is important, so is the process of getting there. Great fundraising achievements only happen because of brilliant people coming together to achieve a vision and an ambition; donors, volunteers, fundraisers, researchers, academics, clinicians. It has to be a team effort.

• Outside of work life is dominated by family and pets however if I have spare time, I enjoy hill walking, cycling and open water swimming.  
• I also volunteer at Park Run, my local rugby club as a coach, and other community events.
